Charles "Charlie" Clupny

Charles “Charlie” Clupny, a beloved father, dedicated tool and die maker, and respected employee of Globe Engineering, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 6, 2024. He was a devoted father to Brian and Gregory Woods and a friend to many. Charlie was also a lifelong farmer, always known for his positive attitude and remarkable ability to fix anything, even a broken heart. Charlie’s life was marked by his unwavering devotion to his family and community. A dedicated parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi in Wichita, Kansas, he found strength and solace in his faith. He was deeply affected by the passing of his wife, Janice Clupny, in May of 2023, a sorrow he never fully overcame. Survived by his sister, Paulette and nieces, Leanne and Elizabeth and nephew, Zach. Grandsons, Daniel (Jessica), Noah, and granddaughter, Briana (Bryce), as well as five great grandchildren. Charlie’s legacy of kindness, knowledge, and resilience will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Monday, August 12, 2024, Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Graveside Service will be 11:45 am, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Clearwater Cemetery, Clearwater, KS.
