Cheryl Kay Nation

Cheryl Kay Nation 62, retired CPA for the Internal Revenue Service, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. Visitation, 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 10; Funeral Service, 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 11, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Cheryl worked for the IRS for 29 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, hiking and visiting museums. She was a devoted mother and a loving grandmother and sister. Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Lela May Endress. Survivors: her husband, Robert “Bob” Nation; father, Lorenz Endress; daughter, Diana (Linden) Ratliff; son, Drew Nation; grandchildren, Vivienne and Augustus Ratliff all of Wichita; sisters, Jerrie (Stuart) Dayton of Omaha, NE, Lela (Craig) Barnum of Wichita, Patricia Johnson of Canton and brother, Dale (Lilah) Endress of Pittsburg.
