Cynthia Ann (Kendall) Williams, beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, was born on March 12, 1956, in Wichita, Kansas, and passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David Williams; sister, Sherry Bell (Mark); brother, Kelly Kendall (Angie); brother, Kirby Kendall (died 8/14/26) (Susan); brother-in-law, Mel Williams (Karen); and her many beloved nieces and nephews: Lindsay Smith (Shawn), Keaton Kendall (Chandra), Brock Bell (Lauren), Blake Bell (Lyndsay), Kylie Rizo (Carlos), Rod Williams, Jamie Williams, Kari (Coby) Rosenberger, Michelle (James) McManus, and Jason (Gail) Marsh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Donna Kendall.
Cindy answered to “Nin,” a name affectionately given to her by her nephew Keaton when he was too young to pronounce “Cindy.” From then on, she became “Aunt Nin” or simply “Ninnie” to nearly everyone who knew and loved her.
Family was the center of Cindy’s world. Her nieces, nephews, and their children looked to their loving “Nin” as a second mother. She was the fun aunt—the one responsible for countless belly laughs, family stories, and inside jokes that will be remembered for generations. Every room was brighter when Nin was in it, and somehow every worry or trouble seemed to disappear when she was around. Making others feel important was her gift, and unconditional love was her medicine.
Cindy dedicated her life to caring for others. She began her career in the medical field at just 18 years old. In 1982, she began working for Cardiovascular Consultants of Kansas, where she remained until she was just about ready to retire when illness changed her plans. Her patients meant the world to her, and caring for them was more than a career—it was a calling.
For the last four years of Cindy’s life, her loving and devoted husband, David, cared for her with extraordinary tenderness and dedication. Her family will forever be grateful for the love and care he gave her.
Cindy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, compassion, and memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but the love she gave so freely will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Cindy will be held alongside her brother, Kirby Kendall, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Road, Wichita, Kansas.
