Dale Edward Hays, 75, loving husband, father, brother, friend and pet parent, died Sunday, November 10, 2024. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Dale retired as a Sales Manager from Diamond-Vogel previously with Kansas Paint & Color. He was a proud Vietnam Army Veteran, a skilled woodworker and craftsman. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter Vern and Thelma Nadene Hays. Survived by his wife, Carol Ann Hays; daughter, Tracey Hays of Wichita, KS; son, Troy Dale Hays; sisters, Nadene (Sam) Mittman, Janice (Jerry) Elder, Dinah (Mark) Mohesky; brothers, Ricky (Meg) Hays, Rodger (Patricia Ann) Hays; step-grandchildren, Shawna Koziarz and Erin McCoy. A memorial has been established with: Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
