Dan Hypse, 75, retired Chef and Culinary Educator, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, of natural causes. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 14, 2022, in the Youth Center at First United Methodist Church. Please use the “D” entrance. The service will be livestreamed at https://boxcast.tv/channel/f9yfyjzko2esfwfc5vkn. Graveside service will be at 4:00 pm Monday, March 14, 2022, at Cleveland (KS) Cemetery in Kingman County. Preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Nelson; stepfather, Bill Nelson; father, Clarence Hypse; brothers, Randy Hypse, Gregory Hypse. Survived by his brother, Mallory Hypse; sister, Candy Foster; son, Daniel (Dan) Hypse; daughter, Natalie Hypse Remsing; granddaughters, Nicole, Jasmine, Serenity, and Amber; great-granddaughter, Sophie; and ex-wife and best friend, Donna Fisher. Memorials have been established with: First United Methodist Church, 330 N. Broadway St., Wichita, KS 67202; Wichita Children’s Home, 7271 E. 37th St. N., Wichita, KS 67226.
