Dillman William Brendle, 71, retired Metropolitan Life Insurance Company computer operations employee and retired veteran of the United States Marine Corps, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, Downing Lahey West. Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 9, Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Derby. Preceded in death by parents, Dillman L. and Vera Brendle; Survivors: wife, Ann, of 46 years; daughters, Jennifer Smith (Tom) and Mandy Gordon (Mark); grandchildren, Elway Ryan, Joshua Dillman and Sara Ann; brother, Vance Brendle. A memorial has been established with Alzheimers Association, 1820 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67214.
