Meisinger, Dorothy C., 84, homemaker, was born on March 14, 1921 in Cameron, Missouri and died Thursday, October 13, 2005, at home in Wichita, Kansas. Service 11:00 A.M., Monday, Plymouth Congregational Church. She met her husband, Fred E. Meisinger, while attending Emporia State Teachers College in 1938. They dated 4 years and were married on September 2, 1942. After WWII, they moved to Wichita and began their family. Dorothy spent the rest of her life as a homemaker, taking care of her beloved family, being active in her church and volunteering in the community. She also enjoyed playing bridge, tennis, going to garage sales, and antiquing. Once her family was raised, she began a career of conducting estate sales. She is survived by her husband, Fred; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Meisinger, Martha and Chuck Cable and Mary and Chris OBrien, all of Wichita; grandchildren, Mike King, Kevin King (Stephanie), Katie Worthington (Jim), Matt OBrien, Molly OBrien and Maggie OBrien; great-grandson, Carter Worthington.
