  1. Dear Family and Friends, In honor of Mom, Estrella Aurora Gorospe Barba, may we treat eachother with love, kindness, and generosity. May we have courage to stand up for what is right. May we stay close to the ones we hold dear. May we hold on to the ability to see and appreciate the beauty in this world in all its forms. May we not underestimate our potential. May we not forget to dream, to live ambitiously, to work to reach our goals. May we strive to be our best, to shine our brightest. On behalf of our family, thank you to each one of you for your kindness, thoughts and prayers for Mom and all of us. May your graciousness be returned to you in full. * peace ~ joyce *

  2. Dear Dad, Liz, Cathy, Genny, Sandy, and Audrey, Gee, I wish I could be at home with you guys. But, i have my kitties here with me. I am glad that we are close to eachother. We are lucky to have all of us together, and all of our extended family. Hey, I just called and talked to Shelley at D&L, she didn’t say why Mom’s obituary was not listed, but she fixed the problem in about 5 minutes. Otherwise, I think they did a good job. Well i miss all of you, but am looking forward to a jolly old time tonight…we are going to see David Sedaris at the Lied Center. YAE!!! All my love, Joyce *
