Gavin Reid Steinacher, 28, died Tuesday, July 28, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas.
Gavin was born on July 15, 1998, to Brendan and Linda Steinacher in Wichita, Kansas. From the very start Gavin was full of energy and spunk. He was goofy, quirky, funny, had a big personality and a big smile. He loved hard, felt deeply and lived large. He cultivated friendships wherever he went and truly enjoyed interacting with people from all walks of life. Some of his passions were playing video games and hanging out with friends and family.

Upon graduation he worked at a T-Mobile store front for two years before moving to the T-Mobile Call Center as a Technical Care Expert. He worked there for close to 8 years. He managed a dynamic and stressful environment while providing outstanding service to his customers with his wonderful problem-solving skills and strong tech knowledge. He left T-Mobile in the fall of 2025 and shortly thereafter began pursuing his Electrician Apprenticeship license through the local electrical union.
In 2017, Gavin began dating Jennie Wilson. They were married in 2021 and spent nearly 10 years together.
