Rev. George R. Goudie, 97, Retired Southern Baptist Minister, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Monday, April 13, 2026, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Believers Southern Baptist Church. Graveside services to follow church service at Resurrection Cemetery. Services will be live streamed and available to watch by clicking on the “WATCH FUNERAL SERVICE” button below.

Preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Mary Goudie; wife, Betty; son-in-law, Paul D. Howe; brother, Charles Goudie; sisters, Evelyn Whilsmith and Elsie Perry.

Survived by his daughter, Linda Howe; son, Brian Goudie, both of Wichita; grandchildren, Melissa (Nick) Miller, Zach (Melissa) Goudie, Jayme Goudie, Jacque (John) Thomas, Morgan (fiancé, Jose Moreno) Goudie, Alexis Goudie; great-grandchildren, Paisley and Greyson Goudie.
