Wallace, George P., 78, retired American Red Cross Disaster Director, died Sunday, November 12, 2006. Private services will be held. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman, KS. George was a member of VFW Post 112, Midian Shrine and Ninnescah Lodge #320, Kingman, KS. Survivors: wife, Paulene (Beck) Wallace; step-son and daughter-in-law, Larry J and Peggy Sullivan of Wichita; step-daughter and son-in-law, Vickey (Sullivan) and John McDonald of Leon, KS; 6 step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, KS, 67202-2406. Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman, KS.
