Helen Winifred

Stucker, Helen Winifred (Grier), 86, passed away Friday, April 29, 2005 at Via Christi St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Wichita, KS. She had previously resided at the Andover Health Care Center. Winifred was born January 26, 1919, near Andover, KS, the youngest of three daughters born to Ralph Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Shaup) Grier. She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Grace Edna (Grier) Alliston and Vera Mae (Grier) Bally. She will be greatly missed by her surviving family, which includes two nieces, Carol (Alliston) McCollough of Loveland, Colorado and Patricia (Bally) Lorentz of Naples, Florida and her niece through marriage, Ruby Alliston, who lovingly cared for Winifred in her later years. Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive her and mourn her passing. Graveside funeral service, 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 5, at Andover Cemetery in Andover, KS. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
