Jacqueline "Jackie" Waitt, 94, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died Sunday, June 11, 2023. Rosary will be at 9:30 am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. The service will be live streamed through the church’s YouTube page. Preceded in death by her husband, George "Dordie" H. Waitt, Jr.; daughter, Mary Melissa Waitt; parents, Herrman and Lucille Kienzle; brother, Herrman Kienzle, Jr.; sister, Marianne Stenz. Survived by her sons, Rocky (Barbara) Waitt of Wichita, Chris Waitt of St. Cloud, MN, Pete (Susan) Waitt of Thornton, CO; grandchildren, Colin (Harry Waller) Waitt of London, England, Devin (Amber Veroman) Waitt of St. Cloud, MN, Graham Waitt of Minneapolis, MN, Andy Waitt, Ryn Waitt, both of Thornton, CO; great-grandchildren, Fionna and Finnley Waitt. Memorials have been established with: St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1321 N. Stratford, Wichita, KS 67206; Rose Hill 9-11 Memorial, 1001 N. Rose Hill Rd., Rose Hill, KS 67133. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

Hey granny it’s me Fionna I miss you so much every Sunday when we would call and talk I never heard your real voice but I have been told you were very talkative like me it has been a long 3 years I miss you I wish you could have celebrated my birthday with me but you didn’t make it the next day when I was told that you dead I didn’t know what that meant but once I saw your body there lifeless I broke down I miss you so much I wish I could have said goodbye on more time my favorite memory with you is when you gave me that Butterfinger it’s my favorite candy when I eat it I think of you I have you necklace in my room and a flower thank you for all the memories I miss you
