Fieser, Jeanette, 103 of Wichita, formerly of Norwich, KS died Thursday, March 23, 2006. Jeanette Fieser was born November 28, 1902 in a farmhouse east of Norwich, Kansas. Her parents were James E. and Retta Skillen. Jeanette was a graduate of Norwich High School in 1919 and was Valedictorian. She was married first to Virgil Kepler and after his death to Edward Charles Fieser in 1930. He also precedes her. Jeanette lived in Norwich independently for 100 years. She then moved to Wichita and lived with her daughter, Shirley. Jeanette joined Norwich Methodist Church in 1927 and remained a member until her death. She was an active lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Sayler of Wichita and Ann Schnoebelen of Hot Springs Village, AR, son, Dale Fieser of Arlington, TX, 11 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 26, Downing Lahey East Mortuary, the service will be at 10:30 am Monday, March 27, 2006 at Norwich United Methodist Church. A memorial has been established with Norwich United Methodist Church, 623 E. Burns, Norwich, KS 67118. Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Visitation 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 26, 2006, Downing Lahey East Mortuary.

  1. How proud you must all be having shared a life with such a proud, determinded lady. I only met Nana once, but have enjoyed all of the wonderful stories about her from Mylene. You all are in the Burton’s thoughts and prayers. Mylene, you have been a wonderful and loving granddaughter and Nana was very lucky to have you over the years. You allowed her to grow old with dignity and grace. I love you, Terri
