Jeanette Mankins, 61, passed away on April 7, 2026, at home with her canine companion George by her side and sisters Patty and Pam. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Bruce, and her parents, Mary and Victor Burnah, and is survived by her son, Josh Burnah; granddaughter, Allie-Mae Burnah; along with her sisters: Renee Blaes (Mike Moore) of Wichita, KS; Pamela Brown (Rick Forbes) of Haysville, KS; Patty France of Wichita, KS; Brenda Riffel of Halstead, KS; and Heather (Toriano) Sparrow of Acworth, GA; and brothers, Steve (Stephanie) Mankins, Doug (Jenny) Mankins, Keith (Trudy) Mankins, Steve (Debbie) Grier of FL, Steve (Deborah) Grivois of Valley Center, KS, and Greg Marshal of Fall River, KS.
Jeanette enjoyed restoring her house that was built in 1908 with her husband Bruce. She loved to camp no matter the temperatures, with a good fire beside her campsite; the outdoors; enjoying going to concerts when she was younger; working in her garden or outside; and shopping with friends. She had a huge heart. She always spent one-on-one time with people, making that person feel even more special. She’ll be missed by many.
