Cyphert, John Wilson, 82, car salesman, died Monday, September 5, 2011. Funeral Mass is 9:30 am Wednesday in the St. Elizabeth Chapel at the Catholic Care Center. John served in the Army with the 10th Infantry Division from Ft. Riley during the Korean War, 1951 ~ 1953. Preceded in death by son, Kent. Survivors: wife, Elmeta (Kearns) Cyphert; children, John Cyphert of Wichita, Janet Cochran (Tom) of Ft. Collins, CO and Catherine McIntosh (Charlie) of Ness City, KS; grandchildren, Clay and Cord McIntosh and Christopher and Ann Marie Cochran. Memorial to Catholic Care Center, 6550 E. 45th St. N., Bel Aire, KS, 67226.
