Julian Tyler Hewlett, 38, Electrician, died August 6, 2023. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 am, Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, at Glorious Bible Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.Survived by his parents, Danny and Evelyn Hewlett; wife, Tianna Hewlett; son, Uziah Jose Calderon; sister, Danielle Hewlett; brother-in-law, Josue Osorio; niece, Sophie Osorio; nephews, Benjamin and Joseph Osorio. Preceded in death by grandparents, Julian and Leola Hewlett; grandmother, Concha Villalpando; grandfather, Pete Raigoza.Julian Tyler Hewlett, JuJu as he was affectionately known by, was born in Wichita, KS on April 23, 1985 to Evelyn and Danny Hewlett. Julian graduated from Goddard High School (2003) and then went into the electrical field following his dad. Julian worked for some of the well-known and respected contractors here in Wichita, KS. Later in life Julian and his dad became a father and son business. Julian took a lot of pride in his work throughout his career, wiring many commercial and residential buildings here in Kansas, also Missouri and Arkansas. Julian was best known for his amazing off-the-wall jokes and silliness. Julian always lit up the room when he walked in with his gorgeous smile and laughter. Julian had so much love for other and always made sure everyone was having a good time! Being the life of the party, he loved being surrounded by family; he was a big kid at heart. Julian enjoyed the holidays, family gatherings, and cookouts. The Fourth of July was his favorite holiday. He enjoyed blowing up the best of the best fireworks, lighting up the sky for the family to watch with sparkle in their eyes. Julian was well-known in all the gyms here in Kansas, known as the workout master, lifting 400 pounds like nothing! Julian enjoyed concerts, traveling, camping, music, golf, and most of all, sharing his testimony and his love for Jesus! Julian had three church homes - Glorious Bible Church and NewSpring in Wichita, KS, and James River Church, an amazing church in Branson, MO - he knew he could come to all three and feel the presence of the Lord. JuJu was one of a kind… the best son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, husband, dad, and friend you could ask for. Never a dull moment and he will be so missed by so many. He impacted so many lives with his love for friend and family. With every memory and song, he will always be on our minds and forever in our hearts.
