Kathy Patry, 64, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2026, both at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary.

Kathy married Randy Patry on November 14, 1981. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved the Chiefs family. She also loved attending Kenny Chesney Concerts at Arrowhead Stadium. Kathy worked at Metal Finishing Company for 35 years and was so looking forward to retirement in June of 2027.

Katherine is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Welch; brother, Ricky. She is survived by her husband, Randy; sister, Karolyn (Marc) Wendt; brother and sisters-in-law, Terry (Shawnee) Patry, Diana (Ron) Seiler, LouAnn (Jeff) Scheer; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Holy Family Special Needs Foundation, c/o Catholic Diocese of Wichita, 424 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67202.
