Kenneth R. Diel

Diel, Kenneth R., 88, passed away April 23, 2005. Visitation with the family 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. He was born January 4, 1917, to Dan and Emma Diel of Ingersoll, OK. He farmed and ranched most of his life in Oklahoma and Kansas. After retiring, Kenneth loved to play the harmonica and gave musical programs throughout Wichita. He also loved to play pool. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie Diel, and two sisters, Lavera and Wanda. Survived by: sons, Kelly (Deloris) Diel of Wichita and Terry (Toni) Diel of Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Everett Diel of Cherokee, OK and Denny Diel of Burlington, OK; one granddaughter, Amanda Tangeman of Lincoln, NE; three great-granddaughters. Kenneth will be missed by his family and those whose lives he touched. Memorials to the Linwood Senior Center 1901 S. Kansas Wichita, KS 67211. Visitation with the family 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
