Lawrence E. Gene Elliott

Elliott, Lawrence E. “Gene”, 76, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006. Rosary service 7:00 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2006, and funeral service 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 27, 2006, both at All Saints Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war from 1951-53. He retired as a transport driver with Interstate Brands Bakeries (Dolly Madison). He was a member of Knights of Columbus, VFW and American Legion. He was an avid car enthusiast, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by parents, Walter Elliott Ferne Godfrey; and brother Ray Elliott. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Dorothylee Elliott of Wichita; sons and daughters-in-law, Shawn Marie Elliott and Chris Sandy Elliott of Wichita; daughter Diann Elliott of Wichita; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Rick Chrisman of Sedan, KS; and grandchildren, Patrick, Anne, Catherine, Chrysa, John, Sarah, Katie, Nellie, Thomas, Mary Jane Elliott, Megan, Shane, Adam, Heather, Jacob, Zachary Chrisman.
