Pecchioni, Loretta, 89, homemaker, died Monday, February 19, 2007. Rosary 7:00 P.M., Thursday, February 22, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M., Friday, February 23, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Graveside service 3:00 P.M., Friday, Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery, Ellinwood, KS. Loretta met and married her husband, Joseph E. Pecchioni, September 29, 1944 at Camp Le Jeune, NC, while both were serving in the United State Marines. He preceded her in death. Survivors: children, Frank Pecchioni of Louisville, KY, Robert and wife, Aiy Pecchioni of Wichita; Loretta Pecchioni of Baton Rouge, LA and Kathy and husband, Richard Graham of Monmouth, OR; sister, Anna Nearing of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with The Lords Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS, 67214.

Although I didn’t know your mother as well, your dad was always a favorite to my brother, sister and I at all the company picnics and Christmas parties.
