Survivors, nephews: Jack (Vona) Albert of Beaver, OK.; Leon (Valene) Albert of Knowles, OK; nieces: Colleen David, Phyllis Kamas both of Wichita and Billie Shadid of Austin, TX. Several great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Salem Lena Stevens,son, Tommy Joe Shaheen. brothers; Tom Joe Ioup and sisters, Idell Albert Josephine Shadid. Memorials to: St. Goerge Orthodox Christian Cathedral, 7515 E. 13th st. N., Wichita, KS., or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS. 67202. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

I saw Marty’s name in the obituaries the same day I saw my sisters’. My sister, Mary Anne Pryor, worked with Marty at Wichita Federal for several years and really loved her. Seemed so strange they would pass away a day apart. I just wanted you to know that we heard lots about Marty and she was so kind to Mary Anne. Hope they can renew their friendship!
