Paul and Ellen were married on December 31, 1960. Sometime in the ‘70s, Paul started using the pet name “Moose,” which continued through their 65-year marriage. Ellen was tiny but fierce. She unconditionally loved her family and friends with all her heart, and above all, her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Ellen was a homemaker who made an oasis of her entire yard, and she gave her grandchildren so many treasured experiences there. She delighted in them and always made them feel truly special.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Jonas and Edna Borntrager; brother, William Borntrager; son, Stanley Wagler. She is survived by her husband, Paul Wagler; children, Loretta Crossman, Brenda (Ron) Gagne; grandchildren, Wesley Crossman, Kelsie (Aaron) Moses, Natalie Knoblauch; siblings, Wilma Beachy, Lorene (Riki) Brooks.

A memorial has been established with: Union Rescue Mission, 2800 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
