Matthew Doyle Burditt, 78, died November 2, 2026.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday, November 9, 2026, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery at Winfield.

Matthew is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ida (Tucker) Burditt; daughter, Brandy Burditt; siblings, Mary Edna Ballinger, Walter Burditt, Joe Burditt, James Karl Burditt, Layne Burditt, Eva Burditt, and Janie Burditt.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Hood) Burditt; children, Jay, Jackie, and Mike Danley; granddaughter/daughter, Shyla Mee; siblings, Nancy Small, of Manhattan, KS, Ernie (Diane) Burditt, of Dodge City, David (Karen) Burditt, of Haysville; grandchildren, Miquela Danley, Jared Danley, Madissen Danley, Nick Harkleroad, Lita Harkleroad; and great-grandchildren, Kasen Poole, Kinslee Poole, Emery Tilson, and Easton Tilson.
