Sharp, Mildred Ann “Millie” Reddick, 87, retired IRS tax auditor, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006. Visitation with the family will be 6:30 ~ 8:00 P.M., Thursday, June 8, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Memorial services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 9, in the auditorium at Larksfield Place, 7373 E. 29th, Wichita. Graveside services will be at 4:00 P.M., Friday, in Enid, Oklahoma at Memorial Park Cemetery. Millie was born May 30, 1919 on the family farm near Kremlin, Oklahoma to Walter and Elsie (Williams) Ingham. She graduated from Hunter High School and attended Oklahoma State University for two years, then worked for the Champlin Refining Co. in Enid. Millie was the head of civilian payroll at McConnell Air Force Base when it was first organized, and then transferred to the Internal Revenue Service in Wichita as a tax auditor. She married Fred Ernest Reddick, March 1942. To this union was born a son, Gregory Bruce and into this marriage Ernie brought his daughter, Shirley Ann Reddick. Mildred married Ted K. Sharp, August 30, 1964. Into this marriage Ted brought his four daughters, Dolores, Anita, Madeline and Lori. She had a lifetime membership in the business womens sorority, Delta Theta Chi. Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ernest, brothers, Glen and Johnny Ingham, her parents and grandson, Patrick Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Ted, son, Greg and wife Dee Ann of Tucson, AZ; step-daughters and spouses, Shirley and Ivan Dowers of Fairview, OK, Dolores Sharp and Anita Sharp, both of Topeka, Madeline and Allen Tollefson of Lecompton, KS and Loretta Sharp of Denver, CO.; grandchildren, Jason Reddick, Patti Reidhead, Vicki Seward, Bruce Eldred, Amy Turner, Lisa Michaelis, Gina Vicedo, Cary Murphy and Darwin Dooley; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Chad and Spencer Eldred, Kari and Kacee Adams, Nicholas Turner, Neeley and Charlie Michaelis, Addison and Austin Vicedo, Taylor and Ryan Dooley and Erin Murphy-Grimes; niece, Barbara Kelley of Wichita, numerous other nieces and nephews and many close friends and her Larksfield family and staff. A memorial has been established with Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY, 10163. Visitation with the family will be 6:30 ~ 8:00 P.M., Thursday, June 8, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Graveside services will be at 4:00 P.M., Friday, in Enid, Oklahoma at Memorial Park Cemetery.
