Nancy Swick, 78, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Grace Presbyterian Church. Graveside service will be 3:00 pm at Lakeview Cemetery.

Nancy was active with the Assistance League – Wichita and Sisters In Crime book club. Nancy taught deaf students and touched their lives greatly. She also enjoyed playing bunco with her group and loved to read and travel.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Ealy and Lois Fuqua. She is survived by her husband, Vern Swick of Rose Hill, KS; sons, Eric (Beth) Swick of Wichita, KS, Jeffrey Swick of Bennington, KS; granddaughters, Emily Swick, and Mia Swick.

  5. So very sorry, Vern and family! Nancy and I just had lunch together just a few weeks ago. Hadn’t seen for quite a while and was sorry to hear of her illness, but was so glad to see her. My heart goes out to you! I’m sure you are aware that I lost Dave 7 1/2 years ago – it’s very hard.
    Thinking of you all, and plan on attending tomorrow.
