Nicole "Nicki" Jeter

Nicole “Nicki” Jeter, age 47, passed away on June 7, 2026.

Born on May 20, 1979, Nicki was a truly special person who brought joy to everyone she met. She never knew a stranger, and her bright smile could light up any room. Nicki loved life and faced every day with a positive heart.

Some of her favorite moments were spent helping the men in her life build and fix projects. She cherished times at her sister’s house watching Jaws and The Muppets, and she loved traveling with her parents and Ability Point. A major fan of the arts, she enjoyed Broadway in Wichita and the Wichita Music Theater. However, her absolute favorite show was watching her beloved niece sing. Nicki loved staying connected by chatting on the phone with family and friends. She also loved spending time with her parents outdoors. Nicki was an amazing human being who will be deeply missed by many, especially those lucky enough to be her family.

Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2026, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church.

Nicole is survived by her parents, Larry and Rita Jeter, her sister, Clarissa Jeter, her adopted sister, Amy Franklin, her niece, Allison Franklin, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other friends and family.

She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, David and Gertrude Jeter, Mary and Paul Pracht, her aunt, Trudy Jeter, her uncles, Paul Jeter and Tim Pracht, her cousin, Troy Malone and her brother-in-law, Micheal Balleau.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with, Ability Point, 2919 W. 2nd St., Wichita, KS 67203 and St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1830 W. Grand Ave, Haysville, KS 67060.
