Gregory, Nona Wilda, 77, retired insurance rater for Travelers Insurance, died Friday, December 31, 2004. Service 3:00 P.M., Thursday, Downing Lahey East Chapel. Interment will take place in Atlanta Cemetery, Atlanta, KS. Nona was born November 8, 1927 in Andover, KS to Archie Willard and Margaret (Phillips) Allen. The family moved to Howard, KS when she was very young. In June 1942 they moved to Wichita. She graduated from East High in 1946. Nona married Glen Robert Gregory February 27, 1949. They started traveling after retirement in 1989. They have been in all four corners of the U.S. and most all points in between, also Canada and Mexico. They started going to Texas for the winters in the early 90s. Nona was a caring person and enjoyed being with friends that she and Glen met through their travels. She also enjoyed crafts and sewing and her new love for the computer. She is survived by husband, Glen; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Ann and Dennis Perry and Deborah Suzanne and Thomas McCowan, all of Wichita; grandchildren, Christopher and Michael Perry and Amy and Dustin McCowan; great-grandchild, Kirsten Joy Perry; sister, Erma Fusco of Wichita; sister-in-law, Loretta Allen of Overland Park, KS. Memorials have been established with Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 3700 E. Mt. Vernon, Wichita, KS, 67218 and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS, 67202.   2. My thoughts and prayers go out to and for you Glen and your family. I planned to attend the service for Nona but due to the weather, my husband thought it best, we stay home. I was very sorry to read of Nona’s passing. You both meant alot to me at one time,long ago.
