Service, 10 A.M., Tuesday, Asbury United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Florence Proffitt; sisters, Linda Dreiling, Oneta Schepis, and Jeannie Proffitt. Survivors: wife, Bernice; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Susan Proffitt, Terry and Debbie Proffitt; brother, Lewis Proffitt all of Wichita; sisters, Dorothy Appelman of Bentley, Faye Bateman of Wichita; grandchildren, Nicolas, Eric, and Stacy Proffitt of Wichita, Joseph Proffitt of Fort Scott, Amy Sherrod of Neodesha, Kelly Poland of Ft.
