Randy Moddrell

Moddrell, Randy (Charles R.), 54, of Kalispell, MT, died August 9, as a result of a motorcycle accident. Randy was born in Wichita, July 20, 1951. He attended schools in Wichita, Kansas City and Wilmette, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1974. Randy was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He was employed by Kansas Elks Training Center before moving to Montana where he worked for several social service agencies. While working for Flathead Industries he met his wife, Gay, whom he married in 1982. They had one daughter, Marie Moddrell Weber. He also had three step-sons and eight grandchildren. Randy is also survived by father and step-mother, Joe and Jean Moddrell of Wichita, sister, and brother-in-law, Kathy and Rod Deprey, nephew, Peter Deprey, all of Atlanta, Georgia, sister, Nancy Moddrell of Austin, Texas and brother, Jeff Williams and nephew, James Williams of Wichita. A private family memorial service will be held at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Memorials to: Kansas elks Training Center for the Handicapped, 1006 E. Waterman, Wichita, KS, 67211 and United Way.
