Brown, Ronald J., 60, loving dad, grandpa, son, brother and retired fireman for the Wichita Fire Department, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011. Rosary, 7 p.m., Sunday, July 31; Funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Monday, August 1, both at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4411 W. Maple. Graveside Service immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery, 1640 N. Maize Rd. Preceded in death by father, Robert J. Brown. Survivors: children, Susan Nitcher (Brian), Jennifer Hosford (Chad), Lisa Brown, Stephanie Mindrup (Frank), Eric Brown (Emily); mother, Verla Brown; 4 brothers and 4 sisters; 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.

Verla and family. So sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. I remember the Brown family very well as we grew up across the street from them when we were kids. Between our two families we had 19 kids. That’s alot of kids!! I hope that your memories of Ron comfort you in your time of grief. I know that he meant alot to you.
