Ronney L. Westerhaus

Westerhaus, Ronney L., 63, retired U.S. Navy officer and retired Boeing technician, died Wednesday, September 7, 2005. Ron was also a midget and Nascar enthusiast and built antique race cars. Visitation 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 9, 2005 and service 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 10, 2005, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Survivors: wife, Betty J. (Raymond) Westerhaus; daughters, Brenda Westerhaus of Virginia Beach, VA and Joanna Winge (Andrew) of Mountain Home, ID; mother, Hulda Westerhaus of Wichita; step-daughter, Kim Schroeder (Michael) and grandson, Nick of Salinas, CA; sister, Dixie Jones (Tom) of Kodak, TN; brother-in-law, Robert Raymond of Glendale, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society, 435 S. Broadway, S- 100, Wichita, KS, 67202 and Belleville High Banks Hall of Fame, P.O.
