Roslyn and my mother Anne Lyon Coffin were friends since childhood and I had the pleasure of meeting Roslyn when she first moved into Larksfield. What a lovely lady, rest in peace Roslyn.
Roslyn “Roz” Rowley Cadman, 97, died Monday, May 18, 2026.
Roz graduated from East High School in January of 1947 and enrolled at Wichita State University in the spring of 1947. While there she joined a sorority and became a pledge president. She met Wilson, a pledge president as well, at a Fraternity/Sorority Walk out.
Roz and Wilson were married November 22, 1950. Shortly after she started working at Fourth National Bank Trust Dept (now Bank of America) until the arrival of her daughter Elizabeth, followed by her son Robert, this is when she became C.E.O of the family home.
Roz became a member of Junior League of Wichita where she was an active volunteer. She was also president of the KS Children League Board, and a docent for The Wichita Art Museum. She was also involved in the art association (now known as Mark Arts.)
Above all Roz enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, participating actively in their school, church and sports.
Roz is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Cadman Jr and her father and mother, Robert and Monica Rowley.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Jeff) Haywood, son, Robert Cadman (Brandi Stevens); grandchildren Sense Cadman, Natalie (Dennis) Overman, Robert Jarrett; and great grandchildren, Olivia Overman, Annistyn Overman and Collins Overman.
