Stacy R. Walker, 45, Cox Communications quality control employee, passed away after a courageous, lifetime battle with Cystic Fibrosis on Friday, October 6, 2017. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Monday, October 9; Rosary, 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, all at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Preceded in death by grandparents, Doyle Cripe and Merlin and Vera Nelson; uncle, Clair Nelson, and mother-in-law, Diane Knutsen. Survivors: husband, Harold Walker; son, Gabriel Walker both of the home; parents, Tommie and Janis Nelson of Wichita; great-grandmother, Cynthia Cripe; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
