Wilbur Bradley, 88, died July 8, 2026.

Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.

Wilbur is preceded in death by his parents, Orval and Millie Bradley; wife, Nancy (Reeves) Bradley; daughter, Dana Bradley (2021); son, Mike Bradley (2020); and sister, Margie Lee Swengle.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Donna Berlin of Colwich, KS; granddaughters, Hillari Spencer, Kadie (Todd) Berlin-George, Kelsey (Justin) Berlin-Jackson; great-grandchildren, Hans Loeffler, Stella Loeffler, Scarlett Loeffler, Elliott George, Tatum George, Sutton Jackson, Sunny Jackson; sister, Mary Lou Owen of Palm City, Florida, numerous nieces & nephews & many friends.

Wilbur and his beloved wife Nancy met at a dance at Oklahoma University.  They were married in Texhoma.  That marriage endured for more than one half a century until Nancy’s passing in September 2024.  The marriage produced two children, Dana and Mike.

Wilbur followed in his father’s footsteps entering the Oil and Gas business after college.  After a stint with major oil companies Wilbur and Nancy returned to Wichita where Wilbur was an independent oil and gas producer.  His company White Pine Petroleum was well known and respected in Kansas.

Wilbur was a warm and outgoing person.  He never met a stranger and made many friends in all walks of life who remained his friends to this day.

Wilbur, above all, was a fisherman.  He has fished all over north America.  For 26 years straight he traveled to a lodge in Canada.  Many of his friends were privileged to go with him on these trips.

Wilbur was a life-long church member whose faith was important to him. He was a member and officer in many petroleum related organizations, too numerous to mention.

He was a 60 year Mason, a Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner and an active and highly respected member of the Royal Order of Jesters.

Wilbur was a friend to all and will be missed.
