Willy Goevert, 87, died July 6, 2026.
Rosary will be at 10:00 am; Funeral Mass will be at 10:30am, Friday, August 7, 2026, at Magdalen Catholic Church.
Wilfred is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Elizabeth Goevert; and sister-in-law, Lorene Goevert.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Goevert; son, Chris (Denise) Goevert; daughters, Cindy (Bruce) Sherman, Catherine (Oraza Allam) Goevert, Caroline (Louis) Mancuso; brother, Bernard Goevert; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Magdalen Catholic Church, 12626 E. 21st St. N. Wichita, KS 67206.

For decades, Uncle Willy’s Christmas tree farm brought joy to countless children and families. The 4C Tree Farm created warm memories that would last a lifetime.
Mary, I was so sorry to hear of Willie’s passing. He was always such a great guy. My prayers for you and the family.
Uncle Willy was always the Life of the Party! May he rest in peace.
Mary and family , I am so sorry to learn of Willy’s passing , I always enjoyed my visits with him at Magdalen Church and remember giving him extra gravey for his monthly visit to the Knights of Columbus Sunday breakfast. Doris and I will not be to attend as we will be in Colorado. God Bless Dick and Doris Beard
