William J. Ogden
Ogden, William J., 91, very beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, retired Wichita Paper Company director, died Thursday, September 8, 2005. Memorial service 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 10, 2005, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by wife, Martha Elizabeth (Bratton) Ogden. Survivors: daughters, Susan Ogden of Wichita, Diana Tierney (Terrence) of Hampton, VA and Jona Ogden of San Carlos, CA; grandchildren, Karen Brooks, Michael Kobeck, William and Adrian Tierney, Rachel, Peter and Rosalind Roomian; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Jacqueline Kobeck. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Salvation Army, 350 N. Market, Wichita, KS, 67202.

Susan and family, Mr. ‘Og’ was a great fellow. I loved his sense of humor! He always called me ‘Yulya’ and made me laugh. How wondergul you were able to have him for so long. He and our mother were very special people. They have a place in my heart as you all do. Unfortunately I can’t attend the memorial today but my thoughts and prayers are with you.
