Winifred B. Winchester
Winchester, Winifred B., 82, retired TWECO executive, died Monday, September 12, 2005. Service at Downing Lahey East Mortuary 10:30 A.M. Thursday, September 15. Winnie B. was a 50 year member of OES and a member of Daughters of the Nile. Preceded in death by mother, Maggie Lancett, and father, George Lancett, who was the chief electrical inspector for the City of Wichita. She is survived by her lifelong friends, Doss and Mary Ann Allensworth of Wichita. Memorials have been established with Kansas Humane Society, 4218 Southeast Boulevard, Wichita, KS 67210 and Sedgwick County Zoo 5555 Zoo Boulevard, Wichita, KS 67212.

It was a great pleasure working with Winifred at ParkWestPlaza, here in wichita. I had the upmost enjoyment spending time with her, and her enjoyment of music as well as her dancing accomplishments. We should all be greatful to be knowing such a wonderful lady and she will be missed.
We will miss Michelle and her smile and her quiet ways here at Kansas University. I enjoyed knowing her and I my thoughts and prayers with her dear children and family. Her life was too short. I regret her children will not have their Mother as they grow up. Sincerely Jeanette Lanier
