I worked with Frank for 25 years or better in the same shop. At first he was guarded and reserved and as my dad would say, “A tough nut to crack.” But we grew to be friends as we troubleshot machine tool problems together and one time he and I were trying to fix a fit throwing beast and Frank said “Let’s try this.” I said “What’s the worst that can happen.” He laughed out loud so hard and from then on everything we worked on together at one time or another we would look at each other and say together “What’s the worst that can happen” and laugh together. Great guy! Extremely skilled in his craft. We were friends. Brothers really.
